Frequently asked questions

Staking is a process in which individuals lock up their cryptocurrency holdings to support the operations of a blockchain network. By staking their tokens, individuals contribute to the network's security and consensus mechanism. In return for their participation, stakers receive rewards in the form of additional tokens. The annual percentage rate (APR) or annual percentage yield (APY) indicates the potential return on staked tokens. The Total Value Locked (TVL) represents the total amount of tokens staked in a particular network. Different networks, such as Ethereum, Polygon, Binance, Fantom, Avalanche, and Polkadot, offer staking opportunities with varying rewards and staked amounts.

Delegated staking is a process in which individuals delegate their staking rights to a trusted third party or validator on a blockchain network. This allows them to participate in the staking process and earn rewards without the need for technical expertise or running their own validator node. The delegated staking service provider handles the technical aspects of staking, such as maintaining the validator node and securing the network, while the delegator retains ownership of their staked tokens.
