They are 1-2 week long introductions to Cabin coliving and culture, providing a lower barrier entry point for community members who are interested in trying coliving but not ready for a long-term commitment. During Cabin Weeks, participants learn about coliving, Cabin culture, lifestyle, values, wellness practices, and traditions. It is a themed coliving experience at a Neighborhood where participants can familiarize themselves with the Cabin community before considering a longer-term stay.
The guiding principles of Cabin are to live in community, integrate with nature, and create together. These principles are supported by six obvious truths that are informed by observed behaviors from the community.
Cabin Citizenship is a subscription membership to Cabin's network city, which consists of coliving neighborhoods in nature with fast internet and a strong community. It provides access to global properties, year-round coliving options, signature experiences such as Cabin Camp, and various perks that can be accessed through cabin.city. Previously, prospective Citizens could earn Citizenship for free by participating in a Build Week. However, Cabin has now introduced a new short-term experience called Cabin Weeks, which serve as an introduction to coliving with Cabin and a streamlined path to Cabin Citizenship. During a Cabin Week, participants join other prospective community members and organizers for 1-2 weeks at flagship Cabin Neighborhoods. They experience curated coliving, including group dinners, local adventures, intentional co-creation, and free time. Successful completion of a Cabin Week grants Citizenship.
