To join Developer DAO, you can either acquire at least 400 $CODE tokens or one of their genesis NFTs, D4R OG NFT. Once you have acquired either of these, you can gain access to the community in Discord by visiting the server link provided. Developer DAO also offers free memberships through their Scholarship program for those who are unable to afford or acquire a token.
The benefits of owning a genesis NFT include permanent access to the Developer DAO community and eligibility to claim the initial airdrop of the $CODE token. Holders of the genesis NFT before block 13612670 are eligible for the airdrop, regardless of how the NFT was acquired. The claim period for the airdrop was open for approximately six months, closing on Feb 18 2022. However, it's important to note that DAO Governance has switched over to the $CODE token.
