Overtime Overview
- What is Overtime?
Overtime is a decentralized and permissionless positional market for popular sporting events. It operates on Thales protocol contracts and is powered by reliable data feeds from Chainlink. The platform allows users to purchase positions for their favorite sports teams through the highs and lows of an entire season, with sports such as soccer, football, basketball, UFC, tennis, and eSports all on offer. Traders can experience all the fun of sports markets with no KYC, no one taking custody of their funds, and no user registration. Overtime is governed by the Thales DAO and Thales Council.

The available sport markets can be browsed on the Overtime markets frontend, which is hosted decentrally on IPFS (InterPlanetary File System). This frontend serves to visualize the blockchain data and allows users to interact with the Overtime contracts belonging to Thales DAO. It does not facilitate any other functions apart from interacting with these contracts. The frontend does not belong to Thales DAO or any individual, and it does not store user data or have a dedicated backend or database. All code is uploaded statically directly to IPFS. It is important to note that by interacting with Thales DAO contracts, users are expected to have read, understood, and accepted Thales DAO's terms of use, and they assume full liability for any failure to adhere to those terms.
